Oilfield

Wild West Dirt Works is COR certified and committed to maintaining industry-leading safety standards. Our operators receive comprehensive safety training, including site-specific orientation prior to entering any worksite. Safe work practices remain a priority on every project, every day.

Our oilfield services include lease and road construction, roadside mulching, access road development, road maintenance, and snow removal. In addition, Wild West provides tree removal, relocation, and planting services to support client care and environmental stewardship initiatives.

Agricultural

Wild West Dirt Works proudly supports the needs of local farmers and agricultural operations. Services include fence line clearing, cattle water dugouts, irrigation ponds, shop pads, basements, dirt and gravel roads, and driveway construction.

Bridge Construction

Our team is qualified to handle projects ranging from minor bridge repairs to complete single-lane bridge installations. Based in the Peace Country, we specialize in forestry and oilfield bridge applications throughout the region.

Wild West Dirt Works owns and operates specialized bridge construction equipment, including a bridge inspection platform and pile driver, allowing us to efficiently inspect, clean, repair, and re-deck bridges. Our in-house equipment and experience help minimize downtime while ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Our experienced operators and heavy equipment crews are equipped to work efficiently under pressure, creating preventive fire guards and cut lines to help slow the spread of wildfires and protect surrounding areas. During Alberta’s dry season, our team understands the importance of rapid response, clear communication, and safe operations in high-risk environments.

In addition to dozer support, our excavators play an important role in wildfire cleanup and suppression efforts. Our specialized fire hoe attachment is capable of tackling hotspots, assisting with mop-up operations, and spraying active fire areas from a safer working distance — helping crews work more effectively while reducing exposure to dangerous conditions.

Mature trees provide immediate beauty, privacy, wind protection, and natural habitat for birds and wildlife, helping transform open properties into established, functional landscapes.

Our tree planting and relocation services are also valuable for oilfield and industrial applications, including reforestation efforts, visual screening, environmental restoration, and minimizing site disturbance.

Tree Planting & Relocation Services

Trees take years to mature, which is why we believe preserving and relocating healthy trees is often a better alternative to removal whenever possible. With proper aftercare and watering, transplanted trees can quickly recover and continue to thrive in their new location.

Wild West Dirt Works is equipped to plant and relocate trees up to 30 feet tall using large truck-mounted tree spades, along with basketed trees for larger-scale planting projects. Whether you are creating a mature acreage landscape, establishing shelter belts and windbreaks, or adding privacy screening, we can source trees from your property or from our own tree farms located in Bezanson, Alberta.
